"I would love Oprah to win".

"I would only speak if I felt that I could be heard", the talk show host during her appearance on "The Van Jones Show".

Oprah Winfrey says Parkland school shooting student activists remind her of civil rights icons of the 1960s, which is inspiring her to give $500,000 to their upcoming March for Our Lives in Washington, D.C.

Trump recently changed his tune after a passionate drive from the public urging Winfrey to run against him in the 2020 United States elections -which she has ruled out.

"Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!" he wrote in February. I would love to beat Oprah.

She said she encouraged young people to think long term in their efforts on gun control, per CNN. I would love it. "That would be a painful experience for her".

Oprah Winfrey isn't playing President Donald Trump's insult game.

This is not the first time that President Trump has openly criticized Winfrey. Instead, she opted for the high road and clarified she does not plan on participating in the 2020 race, which is going be rather contentious by the looks of it.

During an appearance Sunday on CNN's "The Van Jones Show," Winfrey offered advice on surviving the "darkness" of political polarization in America under the current president, as she suggested everyone "stay in the light" of positivity.

Speculation ramped up that Winfrey might consider a bid for the White House after she delivered a stirring speech at the Golden Globes in January. "Don't spend an ounce of time on that". "Do not give your energy to that which you really don't believe in".
