Official Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindewald teaser trailer

This last part really makes me happy as I really enjoyed his role in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The trailer hits nearly every beat that returning Harry Potter fans would want to see: there's familiarity, nostalgia and the return of beloved characters and ideas from the main-line series as well as the continuation of the Fantastic Beasts story, which was charming enough to bring in more than $800m.

Following on the heels of the trailer release, Warner Bros. today released a poster for Fantastic Beasts: The rimes of Grindelwald, the second installment of the Harry Potter prequel series.

More drama, more fantastic beasts, more wizards and witches, and more magic! David Yates returns as director, having helmed the final four Potter films.

The sneak peak gives the first full look of Jude Law playing a young Albus Dumbledore, who enlists the help of former Hogwarts student and Magizoologist Newt Scamander - portrayed by Eddie Redmayne - who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. But to know what this means actually, you will have to wait till November. Grindelwald has a mission to raise pureblood wizards to rule the no-maj (non-magical beings).

The studio released a short video yesterday announcing that the first teaser trailer for the film was coming sometime today.

However, the sequel - which is set years before The Boy Who Lives is even born - follows the Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald - played by a grizzled Johnny Depp - escaping from the Magical Congress of the United States of America.

Redmayne is joined by returning cast members Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Suodl, and Zoe Kravitz. Later in the trailer, he meets Newt on the roof of St. Paul's Cathedral in London and says: "I can't move against Grindelwald".

That's everything we spotted in the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald trailer.
