Monster Hunter World Deviljho Release Date Revealed, Free DLC Coming Soon

Monster Hunter World Adding Deviljho Week

The main objective in Monster Hunter: World is to simply battle big monsters in epic locales.

Capcom has announced a whole raft of new Monster Hunter: World stuff is on the horizon, starting with the much-anticipated arrival of "the world-eater" Deviljho on 22nd March, alongside the game's first free major title update, 2.0.0.0.

In addition to Deviljho the March 22 update will also be balancing every weapon type, aside from both light and heavy bowguns, in various ways to accommodate players. The festival will include daily quests, special food and maybe even some fireworks. April will also see the Spring Blossom Fest taking place and the Mega Man Palico gear surfacing.

And the other, available at the start of the Spring Blossom Fest on April 6, will unlock materials to craft the Wyvern Ignition Great Sword, the victor of our community Weapon Design Contest. The event coincides with the start of the Spring Blossom Fest on April 6.

Update: Capcom has gone over all the new updates in a blog post. Those who want the opportunity to change their character at another time will be able to with the Character Edit vouchers being made a purchasable item at a later date.

And speaking of parts, players will now be able to carve up their kills free of interference from griefers, being unaffected by attacks or bombs after you kill the object of the hunt.

Added "Return to Gathering Hub" (single player) and "Disband & Return to Gathering Hub" (multiplayer) to the options for "Select Return Destination" after a quest has been completed.

As always, stay tuned to the Monster Hunter channels on Twitter and Facebook for the latest news and updates.
