The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for the Island between midnight on Saturday and midnight on Sunday. In some rural areas temperatures may struggle to climb above zero.
Cold air is moving our way from Europe and it will see temperatures plunge this weekend.
The sudden drop in temperature at the weekend, with winds from the east, have led to the weather phenomenon being dubbed the "Beast from the East Two" after a similar front brought freezing temperatures and heavy snow to the United Kingdom in early March.
And it is all down to a weather pattern blowing high pressure over from Scandinavia but is not expected to be as bad as the showers earlier this month.
