Bradford, 30, was acquired by the Minnesota Vikings from the Philadelphia Eagles following Teddy Bridgewater's season-ending injury before the 2016 season in exchange for a 2017 first-round pick and a 2018 fourth-round pick.
Bradford had an outstanding 2016 season for the Vikings, but lingering knee problems as a result of previous surgeries to fix an ACL caused him to miss most of the 2017 season. In seven National Football League seasons played, Bradford has registered 19,049 passing yards, a 62.5 percent completion percentage, 101 touchdowns, 57 interceptions, and a passer rating of 85.1.
Bradford is set to become a free agent Wednesday at 4:00 PM. He returned in Week 15, throwing his only two passes of the season. Per multiple reports, Brees has agreed to a two-year, $50 million deal to remain with the team he's played for since 2006.
Trey Burton expected to sign with the Bears
It turns out his destination is Chicago, where Burton caught his first career touchdown pass from Carson Wentz in 2016. In those two seasons, he registered 60 receptions for 575 yards and six touchdowns, with a minimal number of starts.
