David E. Kelley, creator of Boston Legal, Chicago Hope, The Practice, and Ally McBeal, wrote and executive-produced Big Little Lies, along with Kidman and Papandrea.

It comes after it was revealed that "Big Little Lies" is set to get a second series.

The Big Little Lies Emmy victor has signed on to star in the HBO limited series The Undoing, which will reunite her with writer David E. Kelley, TVLine has learned. The Emmy-winning series' star and executive producer Nicole Kidman is re-teaming with writer David E. Kelley for "The Undoing".

Kidman will star in The Undoing, a limited series based on the book You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz.

Moreover, HBO programming president Casey Bloys said, "We're thrilled to continue our creative relationships with both Nicole and David".

A search for a director for the miniseries is underway. Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very public disaster - and horrified by the ways in which she has failed to heed her own advice - Grace must dismantle one life and create another for her child and herself.

Kidman will star as Grace Sachs, an Upper East Side therapist who is weeks away from publishing her first book, called "You Should Have Known". Just before her first book is about to be published, someone close to her dies and her husband goes AWOL.

David added, "I loved this book". With their Big Little Lies co-producers Reese Witherspoon and Bruna Papandrea, Blossom Films is also adapting Liane Moriarty's new novel Truly Madly Guilty into a limited series. Check! Much like her Big Little Lies costar Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman is now developing one of your favorite recent books. She will reprise her role of Celeste Wright in Big Little Lies next year. Abrams' Demimonde, Jordan Peele's Lovecraft Country, True Detective, Sharp Objects, The Deuce and Here and Now, among others.
