First Trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald Revealed

The trailer for the film - which is the second of five tales penned by J.K.Rowling - also provides the first glimpse of Hogwarts since the Harry Potter films.

The good news is that we finally know when the first trailer will be released! The film stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamandar alognside returning stars Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, and Ezra Miller. Check it out above. "I can't move against Grindelwald".

In the sequel, Depp plays evil wizard Gellert Grindelwald, who spent most of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them posing as Colin Farrell's Percival Graves before being arrested at the movie's conclusion by the Magical Congress of the United States of America.

Fantastic Beasts 2 is a prequel to the famous Harry Potter series, but it does feature some of the same beloved characters, like a much younger version of Albus Dumbledore. The adventure reunites Newt with Tina, Queenie and Jacob, but his mission will also test their loyalties as they face new perils in an increasingly risky and divided wizarding world.

The action of the wizarding world moves to the other side of the pond, from NY to Paris.

Depp is also seen in the trailer in character as the white-haired Grindelwald after previously having a brief appearance in the first film in the trilogy.

The Crimes of Grindelwald, directed by David Yates with a screenplay by Rowling, will be released November 16. The film is produced by David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram.

At the mark of 1.37 in the trailer, Newt hits one spectacular shot out of the park with his wand (golfers, cricket fans, baseball fans, add him to your fantasy leagues!) and we see Scamander Bros work their magic together.
