Tim McGraw's concert performance was cut short Sunday night after the country music superstar collapsed on stage.

Following the collapse, McGraw's wife Faith Hill came out to address the audience, and reassured them that the incident was purely down to her spouse being "super dehydrated".

Soon after, his publicist released an official statement in which it was written that Tim McGraw was indeed suffering from dehydration. The local medical staff took good care of him and he is now feeling fine.

McGraw and Hill were part of a large group of Nashville stars in Europe this weekend for the C2C: Country to Country music festival, which tours London, Glasgow and Dublin. Hill and McGraw were the headliners, along with Little Big Town and Kacey Musgraves.

The duo is scheduled to begin their 29-city Soul2Soul tour in the USA on May 31 in Richmond, Virginia. She promised to return to Dublin but for now, this was the couple's last tour date.

Recently, McGraw made headlines as being one of the few mainstream country artists to speak up in support of gun control.

"Thank you DICK'S [Sporting Goods] for taking a stand to promote a meaningful discussion for the safety of our kids!" "A true hero who lost his life protecting the children", McGraw tweered.

Tim and Faith have been married since 1996 and share three daughters.
