Honor Brings Face Unlock Feature For Honor 7X

The smartphone will be available in China starting China in Red, Black, Gold, and Blue color variants. The Honor 7C comes in two variants - 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage priced at 899 Yuan (Rs 9,235 approx.) and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage which will cost you 1,299 Yuan (Rs 13,345 approx.). On the front, it has an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. Today, the Chinese company silently launched an entry-level device dubbed as Honor 7C in its homeland China.

Huawei Honor 7C features a 5.99-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display, with a 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood, it is fueled by a 14nm octa-core processor that is clocked at 1.8GHz, with Adreno 506 GPU on top. The front camera packs facial recognition feature as well. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.

The Honor 7C comes with a price that will shock you. Honor will soon come up with information regarding its availability in more markets.

Finally, Honor 7C is a dual-SIM smartphone, and it offers connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, Global Positioning System etc.


After the Honor View10 and Honor 9 Lite, Honor 7X will be third smartphone in Honor's portfolio to support Face Unlock feature, according to a company statement here.

As stated, the Honor 7C offers 3GB/4GB RAM of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage depending on the variant. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 out of the box. The rear camera comes with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture. The device also packs a 3000mAh battery which is optimised to provide longer battery life. It measures 158.3 × 76.7 × 7.8 mm and weighs 164 grams.

Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C.
