The first trailer for the game is below.
The teaser trailer really doesn't give much away other than showing the Inklings from the Splatoon series and the shadowy figures of legendary characters, Mario and Link.
Players managed to make out some of them like Donkey Kong and Bowser but the rest is a bit hard to figure out. Regardless of potential serious health risk, Sakurai is back and so is Smash Brothers, and the world can not wait.
Forbes' Paul Tassi, meanwhile, went on to speculate new characters that may be added to the Super Smash Bros. roster.
The Wii managed to sell over three million units in its second year as well, and Media Create explains that we'll have to watch and see if the Switch will follow the same trajectory as the older console. Soon, Super Smash Brothers's working title will be a thing of the past.
The announcement of any Smash title brings with it an abundance of wish-listing, pertaining to the game's roster.
As of now, it has not been confirmed whether the game will be a brand-new version or a port of the Super Smash Bros.
Super Smash Bros. fans will find it hard to wait for new information, which will likely be from E3 2018.
Nintendo will also release a remastered "Crash Bandicoot" trilogy on July 10 and the Zelda-esque game "Okami" in the summer. At the very least, gamers know that the fighting franchise is finally headed to the Nintendo Switch.
