It's usually the other way around, but Snapchat are borrowing an idea from Instagram this time as they test out the option of tagging other users in stories. Snapchat's version of the feature asks users to swipe the "more" option, displaying the name of the person tagged, their handle, a Bitmoji and an "add" button to follow their account. Also, whoever gets tagged will receive a notification, so nothing will remain unseen.
Facebook was one of the first to allow users to tag other accounts in photos uploaded to the site.
Influencers including DJ Snake, Tchami, and even Kylie Jenner have made the switch from Snapchat exclusively to Instagram Stories. Usernames will automatically generate a tappable link to the associated profile.
