Geurrero-Moreno died shortly after the crash and Kristian Guerrero, who was five-months pregnant and married to Guerrero-Moreno, was taken to St. David's South Austin Medical Center for treatment. When asked if it was a bad mistake, she replied, "The worst". "It occurs to me though, that it's not the jury's intention that that occur, and that's going weigh pretty heavily with me", said Judge Robison. She faces a maximum sentence of 20 years. Elliott's grandmother testified that she had a tough family life. She said she had dropped off her friends off then chose to drive home.

Elliott said she used drugs and alcohol to cope. She admitted to using heroin and marijuana in efforts to sober up before driving.

Prosecutors pointed out that Elliot was out on bond from those drug charges at the time of the crash.

Guerrero testified that she still felt this was a "really, really bad dream".

"I think she will talk to people, I think she will use this to help other people, she's not a bad person, she made a disgusting decision, and it was a awful mistake, and it caused a frightful outcome", said Jamie Haynes, Elliot's ex-boyfriend's mother.

In video film appeared to the jury and seen by KXAN, a swimsuit clad Elliott is seen attempting to breeze through a temperance test, and asking the cops how the couple was doing, saying: "Slaughter me now".

Guerrero was the only survivor in their vehicle at the crash.

Friday those words still rang hollow for Kristian Guerrero "I don't buy your crocodile tears of the sweet little innocent girl that they tried to portray you to be, you are a monster, and you are not sorry for what you've done you're sorry because it landed you right there", said Guerrero. I know that an apology doesn't do much.

"I'm scared all the time", said Guerrero.
