Nintendo Announces Upcoming Switch Games During Nintendo Direct

Nintendo Direct Mario Tennis Aces Mario Tennis Mario

First off, the website revealed the boxart and release date for Mario Tennis Aces.

Nintendo also plans to host a pre-launch online tournament, one that will presumably offer players the chance to check out Mario Tennis Aces ahead of its launch through an exclusive 1 vs. 1 online tournament.

Other than how you play the game, some new features and modes include a story mode, boss battles, and online multiplayer. The game features a "Swing Mode" which allows players to wield the Joy-Cons as if they were holding a tennis racket. Mario Tennis Aces will be playable in both TV, handheld and tabletop mode and will even allow four Switches to be connected locally for four-players. In addition, an online tournament for Mario Tennis Aces will be held later this year, and everyone who participates will get special items or additional characters.

Mario Tennis Aces will be released on June 22nd. The powerful "Zone and "Special" shots have the potential to damage and even break an opponent's racket if not blocked in time". The game launches on July 13. What better way to shake off the summer doldrums than with a fun game of tennis? The last time Mario and his friends played tennis was on 2015's Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash for the Wii U.

The Crash Bandicoot N.Sane trilogy is also coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Coming off the disappointing failure of the Nintendo Wii U, the Switch has been breaking records so far.

Hyrule Warriors on Switch launches May 18. The game will be making a wump on the Nintendo Switch July 10. You can disable these new features by turning on simple rules.

Kirby Star Allies will let you play as King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Bandanna Waddle Dee in multiplayer. Two new characters were shown off: Tressa the merchant and Alfyn the apothecary.

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is another Nintendo Switch exclusive with a new gameplay trailer. Callie will appear in Octo Canyon if you meet certain conditions.

Finally, we have a single player expansion for Splatoon 2. After playing the expansion, you can play as octolings. Moreover, they can also enjoy "Super Mario Bros".
