Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker coming to Nintendo Switch
09 March 2018, 09:47 | Jodi Jackson
A Nintendo 3DS version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, which includes stereoscopic 3D visuals and touch-screen controls, also launches on July 13.
For the most part, these versions are the same game as the original. This should make the extra investment of this version of the game worthwhile, even if you might have purchased it before.
For those that missed Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, this is a fun, isometric puzzle game in which you venture with the somewhat courageous (?) hero through a series of levels, collecting coins and avoiding enemies.
The new versions of the game will have Super Mario Odyssey levels added and Toad could be seen floating into New Donk City in the footage. While one player controls Captain Toad, the other can assist with things like turnip cover fire.
In any case, both versions of Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker will be available starting on July 13th.
Honestly, this is one of the better games on the Wii U, so I'm all for it.
Captain Toad on Switch and 3DS will also come with new stages pulled from the Kingdoms of Super Mario Odyssey.
