New Orleans Saints vs Minnesota Vikings

New Orleans Saints vs Minnesota Vikings

Wide receiver Nelson Agholor and the Eagles like to play an aggressive style of football and take chances. It has worked well this season with Philadelphia one win away from a trip to the Super Bowl

Bradford was stellar in the opening win against the Saints, but unable to play the following week.

The Minnesota Vikings surprised everyone by securing the #2 seed in the NFC after their starting QB Sam Bradford went down with an injury (again). If that occurs, the Saints could be in the NFC Championship game next week. Prediction: Vikings 23, Saints 20.

This is the Eagles' first appearance this deep in the postseason since January 2009, when they lost at Arizona one game shy of the Super Bowl. What has made this Vikings team such a surprising story is that this is a team that went 13-3 during the regular season despite not containing the kind of star power that most of the remaining powerhouses contain. They have caused problems for opposing offenses all season en route to helping give the Saints the 10th-best scoring defense in the NFL.

The Saints are in the Divisional Round of the playoffs after defeating the Carolina Panthers, 31-26 last Sunday.

Although the Saints have fared well against tight ends this year (per Football Outsiders, they allowed only 36.2 yards per game to the position), tight end Kyle Rudolph is a tough matchup. Plus, playing at U.S. Bank Stadium in front of fans who want to see their team advance to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1970s, they will be loud and most likely will force the Saints into a mistake or two. It will be hard for them to contain everybody, and the guess here is that Rudolph and McKinnon are the ones who take advantage.

The Vikings defense has been a nightmare for some of the top backs in the league to play against.
