'Wakanda forever!' New video highlights the warriors of Black Panther

In the new featurette, Lupita Nyong'o - who plays Nakia, an old flame of T'Challa's and a member of the Dora Milaje - describes how her character is somewhat at odds with Okoye, the leader of the group portrayed by The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira.

While industry estimates do not believe "Black Panther" will topple "Civil War's" strong opening weekend of $179M, but if it does, "Panter" would become the highest opening of all-time for a February release and the best opening before summer.

The video introduces the Dora Milaje, the all-female special forces warriors and bodyguards to new king T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman). Seeing how synchronous their movements are is quite the sight to behold, and if they fight just as fluidly as they move in the new snippets of footage in this featurette, then the action sequence where they battle Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) is going to kick some serious ass.

Earlier this week, ticket site Fandango reported that "Black Panther" was able to set Marvel pre-sales record for its first 24 hours. The film is produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nate Moore, Jeffrey Chernov and Stan Lee serving as executive producers; Coogler and Joe Robert Cole wrote the screenplay.

The film also stars Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, and Winston Duke, with Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.
