Stan Lee, Marvel creator, accused by home-care nurses of sexual harassment
13 January 2018, 03:56 | Myron Mathis
Comics creator has denied the ‘false and despicable’ claims and suggested that the allegations were part of a ‘shakedown
Following the incident, she apparently made an official complaint to Stan Lee's representatives, which have kicked off a whole bunch of behind the scenes meetings as they work out what to do.
According to the accusation, Stan Lee was attending the Chicago Comic-Con C2E2 last April when the incident happened, which involved Stan Lee allegedly carrying out the sexual assault after booking massage therapy in his hotel suite.
The source further explains that Stan Lee seems to have lost touch with reality and has lost his grasp on accepted social behavior.
On December 20th the owner of the nursing company received a "cease and desist" letter from Lee's attorney, Tom Lallas.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, which cites anonymous sources, the 95-year-old Lee is now in a legal dispute with a nursing company over claims that he sexually harassed and groped multiple female nurses who were employed to care for him at his home in West Hollywood, Calif.
Lee is the former president and chairman of Marvel and co-created Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, the X-Men, Hulk among many other beloved comic book heroes. She claims Stan was out of control, he groped her and asked her for sex which the woman refused...
He is said to have asked for oral sex in the shower, walked around naked and wanted to be "pleasured" in the bedroom. "His age is no excuse".
Lee's lawyer stated that he "categorically denies" the "false and despicable" allegations against him, and went on to suggest that the allegations could be part of a shakedown. Mr Lee has not offered any money to settle this claim, and no negotiations have ever occurred regarding any payment to this accuser.
"I have no comment except that I have not asserted any legal claim against Mr".
The 95-year-old Lee was set to drop the puck before Friday night's game between the Coyotes and Edmonton Oilers at Gila River Arena in Glendale.
Stan Lee's lawyers are again claiming it's another shake-down, and that the claim is a demand for money, and that they will defend Stan Lee's "stellar good character", and that Stan Lee will "not be extorted or blackmailed".
Marriott, Delta in hot water with China
The CAC met with Marriott representatives this week and ordered its website and app to be taken down for a week, as punishment. Officially, the US government has adhered to this policy even as President Donald Trump has argued against it.
