OnePlus today took the wraps off OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition in India following Star Wars limited edition from last month. The company has introduced Lava Red colour variant in the Indian market, which will go on sale exclusively through online retailer Amazon India. Our reports also shed lights on how the company was set to launch the device ahead of January 26. The price remains the same as the Midnight Black variant at Rs. 37,999. To recall, the OnePlus 5T smartphone was initially launched in the month of November. OnePlus claims that the Lava Red's unique color is achieved through a combination of high temperatures, long baking times, two "anodic oxidation" processes, "double blasting", and "AF coating" - there's less than 0.01% variation between units. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, coupled with 6/ 8GB RAM and up to 128GB inbuilt storage. The handset will feature Android 7.1.1 Nougat. For selfies, this phone is equipped with 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX371 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.
