The two arch-rival teams, Pakistan and India, will face-off against each other in the Blind Cricket World Cup on Friday (today) at Ajman cricket ground in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

India won the toss and chose to field.

Pakistan scored 282 for the loss of eight wickets in their 40 overs with Md Jail scoring 90 from 91 balls before retiring hurt.

In reply, India comfortably chased down the target in 34.5 overs.

Deepak Malik was adjudged Man of the Match.

The final set of preparation games are scheduled for Thursday with former champions Australia taking on South Africa, Canada clashing with Ireland, India up against Kenya and England facing Sri Lanka. The team's opening game against Australia was called off due to heavy rain.

Pakistan had earlier defeated Bangladesh and Nepal before coming to play India in the mega event.

Legendary cricketer and India's Uner-19 coach Rahul Dravid, who turned 45 today on January 11, shared a special message for the cricket fans across the globe and urged the Indian fans to come out in the support of his trainees.

Despite the tournament being officially hosted in Pakistan, India's refusal to travel to the country means that their matches are being hosted in the UAE. This is the third time the tournament is being held in New Zealand, after 2002 and 2010.
