Tonya Harding ends awkward interview with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain

She skated over the remorse, the personal accountability.
"I just love it so much", she added.
"I don't want her anywhere near me". Harding continues to train for the Olympics Jan. 27, 1994: Harding admits she failed to report things she knew about the assault on Kerrigan.
While it's unclear whether Sandy has seen the Margot Robbie movie, which was based in part on interviews screenwriter Steven Rogers did with Harding and Jeff Gillooly, she disputed some of the events recreated on screen while speaking to ABC.
The issue in question is the 1994 knee-bashing of Nancy Kerrigan, Harding's Olympic skating teammate and rival, a scandal that made Harding one of the most notorious women in the world. Gillooly was sentenced to two years in prison, and Eckardt was sentenced to 18 months. Harding continues to deny her involvement in the attack on Kerrigan. A judge places her on probation for three years and orders her to pay $160,000 in fines and contributions. But the role is more than an impersonation, and Robbie is able to find - and to show us - the broken pieces of Tonya's damaged soul, with a kind of fierce vulnerability that makes her not just sympathetic but, at times, heartbreaking.
Harding was also banned for life from the U.S. Figure Skating Association.
But once you move past the sheer absurdity of the suggestion, the demand on Rosenberg and subsequent dissolution of Harding's relationship with him is what stands out.
Worse treatment arrives in the form of Jeff's best friend, Shawn Eckhardt, an overweight schlub and bodyguard with delusions of "I'm a spy" grandeur who opens his mouth throughout the movie for two reasons only: stuffing food into it and saying something idiotic. "But it's my faith in myself and in my father that comes back to me and makes me get back up off my butt and be something worth being proud of", she said.
The movie puts us in Harding's corner early, as we meet her abrasive, frequently married, frequently single mother LaVona Golden.
UCF Fans Put Up Billboard Challenging Alabama To Play Them
A future meeting of the teams would do nothing to change the outcome of 2017, but it'd still be fun, and fun things are good. If UCF and Alabama played this year, the Tide would've been favorites, as they are against every team they play.
