The show won't go on: Céline forced to cancel another concert

Celine Dion

She then started singing: "I love you, you love me".

Celine Dion cancelled her concert in Las Vegas on Tuesday night (January 9) as she continues to battle throat inflammation.

"I bet you just wanted to come closer to me".

Social media was also abuzz this week over Dion's grace under fire as she spoke with a drunk fan on stage at her show.

"I'm glad you came on the stage tonight. But you know what, I'm glad you came closer to me", she added, barely getting the sentence out before the woman launches herself at the songstress. As the guards stepped in, Dion waved them away, saying she would help the woman off stage herself, embracing her and comparing their respective gold outfits. 'Look at me. Look at me in the eyes. According to the video's poster, the woman wanted to tell Dion her son had a bone marrow transplant and wanted to ask fans to be donors.

'We have something in common, ' Dion tells the woman.

"You know what? We've got babies that we love, and we're going to fight for them", Celine continued.

Dion's show the previous Friday evening made headlines when a female fan, who appeared to be inebriated, somehow eluded security and made it on stage.

"2018, we're going to make a change. you know what?" We regret to inform you that tonight's performance of "Céline" at @ColosseumatCP has been cancelled. "Some people go through a lot, and some people need to talk".

Dion then turned her attention to the audience, who had been watching the entire situation unfold for roughly five minutes.

Celine said afterwards: "Let me tell you something. I can't wait. Come on, Lady Gaga, we're waiting for you!"
