Samsung Galaxy S9 Leak

Last year, the launch of OnePlus 5T happened on June 22, two days after the global launch.

Late previous year, when the purported list of smartphones arriving with Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset Snapdragon 845 on board came out, it had the OnePlus 6 on the list. Other than that, he did not mention the others specs that the phone will come with but we expect it to go against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S9 phones, as they will also come with the 845 chips.

OnePlus recently launched their new OnePlus 5T smartphone and now we have details about their next handset, the OnePlus 6.

OnePlus, which has carved out a niche in the smartphone market by launching devices with top-of-the-line specifications but with affordable price tags, may soon break into the mainstream.

Support from USA carriers has been an issue for Chinese smartphone brands. The OnePlus 5 was launched in June a year ago, and it seems the company wants to maintain the launch cycle.

The company honchos also made a surprise announcement that OnePlus will initiate talks with USA network providers to sell their phones in the country, which the fellow compatriot Huawei recently failed to do so. The CEO also pointed out that the OnePlus 5T is now the company's fastest and best-selling product.

"If the right opportunity and right timing come along, we'll be very happy to experiment", Lau said.

In conversation with CNET, during CES 2018, Pete Lau stated that the company would opt for the Snapdragon 845 as "there's no other choice".

OnePlus has a foolproof plan ready for 2018. Selling its Android phones through carriers in the US now seems like a logical step forward to further cement itself as a major competitor in the smartphone market.

One of the world's biggest smartphone makers, Huawei had hoped to finally crack the USA market with the launch of the new Mate 10 Pro.

After months of being rumored, Huawei hot deal with United States carriers, Verizon and AT&T eventually fell through.
