THE BATTLE IN THE SANCTUM SANCTORUM

Avengers Infinity War May Feature A Battle Scene With 40 Heroes

Pretty cool, huh? There's a lot to digest here, as Captain America appears to be sporting his costume from The Avengers (not to mention arguing with Tony). And we can see Akindele executing this role perfectly, given her versatility that has spanned across TV and film. His clean-shaven face and his costume change spark a speculation that the upcoming fourth "Avengers" movie would feature a time-traveling element and the scene they were shooting could be a flashback.

It tells the story of how the Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet - the evil Thanos.

Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War is slated for a release in theaters on May 4, 2018.

Everyone is anticipating the arrival of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War this coming May, but everyone at Marvel Studios is still busy working on the follow-up, the untitled Avengers 4.

Now, why would Thor have his old hairdo and both eyes while Cap's got on his old uniform?

Beyond the start and end of filming updates, as well as a handful of actor confirmations for the movie, there's been a distinct lack of details surrounding Avengers 4. They're basically one in the same since the Eye of Agamotto houses the Time Infinity Stone. Yes, it's possible that his other suit is at the cleaners or something, but how cool would it be for the characters to interact with past versions of themselves?

The leaked photos are just the latest evidence to fuel this theory. Ironically, we'll have to wait for the future to see if we're correct.
