Here's Your First Look At Tom Hardy As Venom

Check out a first look pic of Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock in Venom

Earlier today, we got our first glimpse of Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock (see gallery below) in the upcoming Sony Pictures film Venom, and now you can see footage of Hardy and director Ruben Fleischer on set as they address the crowd gathered for Brazil's Comic-Con Experience (CCXP) back in December. Playing Venom and his alter-ego, Eddie Brock, will be none other than former Bane, Tom Hardy. There, he encounters the Life Foundation, a shadowy corporate survivalist group that's so convinced that civilization will end in a nuclear holocaust that it begins planning a future utopian society for its wealthy clients.

Looks like this version of Eddie Brock cannot only read but write as well! It also featured the Life Foundation.

Based on previous reports, the film will be based on two major Venom story arcs.

The second entry in Brock's notebook reads: "What about the allegations your empire is built on?".

It looks like Brock, in his job as a reporter, is pressing The Life Foundation on its shady dealings.

The last question is obscured by Hardy's attractive, sturdy fingers. Of course, comic book movies continue to dominate at the box office and 2018 will certainly be no different, but the colorful heroes and villains found in the panels of our favorite comic books and graphic novels have also fared pretty well in the television and video game mediums. No doubt the film's post-production team is working overtime to get those effects finished, and while this first look image is somewhat bland given what this movie is, we may be seeing a trailer here before too long.

So will the movie see Venom as an existing symbiote that the Life Foundation uses as the basis for its own horrifying monsters?
