Millie Bobby Brown to Play Sherlock Holmes' Sister Enola Holmes

Millie Bobby Brown

As if the Upside Down didn't present enough of an enigma, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown will be delving into a new myriad of mysteries as Enola Holmes, sister of Sherlock.

Millie Bobby Brown really is going places with her career, and is now setting her sights on a film career in the wake of Stranger Things. Brown will also produce the planned movies, based on Nancy Springer's Enola Holmes Mysteries novel series. Sherlock and Mycroft, Enola's long-absent, much-older brothers, arrive and assure her that they will look into the disappearance; she will be sent away to boarding school.

The first book, The Case of the Missing Marquess, came out in 2006, with six books in total encompassing the series. Springer, author of the popular Tales of Rowen Hood series featuring Robin Hood's daughter, mines the classics once more, and finds Sherlock Holmes' 14-year-old sister, Enola Holmes, who also has keen powers of observation.

Brown has already developed a working relationship with Legendary after starring in next year's Godzilla: King of the Monsters for director Michael Dougherty.

It was reported that Millie will produce it under her PCMA Productions. It's likely that Season 3 of the series will be what she shoots next.
