Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has said Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho would be the ideal fit for his old club, Barcelona.

Philippe Coutinho is set to agree a stunning five-year deal with Barcelona worth an astonishing £127million in January, according to reports. "I always do my best when I have the opportunity to play, respecting the jersey and the supporters".

Philippe Coutinho has admitted that he is "unsure" what will happen with regards to his Liverpool future. Barcelona saw three bids rejected by Liverpool last summer, but the La Liga favourites are expected to be back for Coutinho in January.

'I do not know how the future is going to be.

Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has compared Liverpool's current attacking quartet of Salah, Mane, Firmino and Coutinho with that of the famous 2013-14 season with Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling.

Barcelona are reportedly lining up a £127million move for the playmaker when the January transfer window opens.

However, will the Catalans make a reasonable offer for Coutinho, it seems likely that they will have to get close to at least 130 million pounds to turn Jurgen Klopp. What will happen in January, we will know it in January.

His wonder goal against Spartak on Wednesday showed what he's capable of, the first of a brace on the night, while Coutinho helped himself to a first-ever Liverpool hat-trick on the night he wore the captain's armband.

Regarding Barcelona's bid from the summer, which UOL claims was €160m, Coutinho said: "It was a job offer as for any other person and I became interested. Since I stayed I have played with will and desire", continued the 25-year old, shifting the conversation towards more manageable territory. I mean, if he's going to play like last night regardless what happens, great.
