Death Stranding gets stranger somehow in this new trailer

Death Stranding

Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus made an appearance at The Game Awards 2017 and showed a brand new trailer for Death Stranding. After what appears to be a wreck of some sort, crushing one character underneath it, the trailer shows an invisible monster before a carcass completely evaporates, ostensibly because of the beast. But it's still incredible ridiculous and out of this world, to the point of still not knowing just how the hell this is actually going to be a game. "Once there was an explosion, a bang that gave rise to life as we know it", Reedus growls. "An explosion that will be our last". Well, watch the trailer below and try to figure it out for yourself, then wait for more info on Death Stranding before it eventually comes out for the PS4 in the future.

As you can tell from the tweet above, it seems like Kojima is simply advertising a potential product, the "thing" that Norman Reedus is seen wearing around his neck in the various Death Stranding videos.

Norman Reedus and Hideo Kojima then took the stage, bringing up the cancellation of Silent Hills, their previous collaboration.

No concrete release date was given for the game.
