Huawei Nova 2s launched with 6-inch display and Kirin 960 chipset

The Nova 2s may have a bezel-less screen - which is fast becoming an industry norm - but Huawei's new phone has at least a couple of more tricks up its sleeve to make it stand out in the crowd. On the front, the Nova 2s comes with a wide-angle 20-megapixel lens and another 2-megapixel camera for portrait selfies. The phone comes as a high-end offering running Android Oreo out of the box, dual camera setup at both the rear and front, and an 18:9 almost bezel-less display. The Huawei Nova 2s banks on premium design and comes with not one, not two but a total of four cameras: two on the front and two on the back.

According to the leaks so far, the Nova 2s has been envisioned to come with a 6-inch display that will carry the support for Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Now, the company launched the sixth device in the Nova series called Huawei Nova 2s. The Huawei Nova 2s is considerably more powerful than its siblings, the Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus, which were announced earlier this year. There is also a fingerprint scanner which is into the home button below the display on the front of the device. The storage of this phone is also expandable up to 256GB.

The unreleased phone's rumored dimensions are practically identical to the Honor 7X's physical measurements, at 156.9 x 75.1 x 7.5mm.

You're looking at dual imaging arrangements on both the handset's back and front, with 20 + 16 and 20 + 2MP sensors respectively, which explains the reportedly higher starting price point. The phone boots Android 8.0 Oreo with the brand's EMUI 8.0 skin. Do keep in mind that Huawei released the special edition "Yixing Zhang" customized version of the phone which comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage as well, and that variant is priced at 3,399 Yuan ($514). A 3,340mAh battery supplies the juice.

Coming to the pricing, the Huawei Nova 2s is priced at 2699 Yuan for the 4GB RAM variant and is now available for registrations.
