The first holiday event for Call of Duty WW2 is set to kick off on December 8th, 2017.

Call of Duty: WWII "Winter Siege" will begin on December 8th and end on January 2nd.

Are you jumping in this weekend? "Winter Carentan will be free for all players starting on Friday throughout the Winter Siege event".


Call of Duty: WWII takes the franchise back to its roots in a bold cinematic experience that captures the unforgettable heroism of the soldiers who fought together in a war that changed the world forever. Additionally, Captain Butcher, a new quartermaster, will be visiting Headquarters and and he will be bringing along some new Supply Drops that are full of new gear that's flawless for the cold weather, according to GameSpot. The classic Gun Game party mode will also return to the fold.

The Call of Duty WW2 Winter Siege festivities promise to keep you busy for the entire month with a ton of surprises when it arrives later this week. A brand new Quartermaster, Captain Butcher, will be dropping by the social space, bringing some new items with him when he does, including winter-themed cosmetic items, weapon variants, and even some full-blown weapons in the form of the Trench Knife, Ice Pick, Gewehr 43, Sten, and the GPMG.

In addition to the weapons, there will be new winter supply drops, replacing rare supply drops for the duration of the event. This beloved mode makes its Call of Duty: WWII debut during the second week of the event as part of a non-stop schedule of special 2XP playlists, delivering a flawless way for players to take a variety of weapons out for a spin and keep their opponents guessing. It will be one of the titles in the Double XP playlist during Winter Siege.
