Steven N'Zonzi Reportedly Flies into London for Arsenal Transfer Talks

Sevilla: N'Zonzi and Berizzo need to settle differences quickly

Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi has told France Football that he is not in London for talks over a transfer, but simply to see his son.

The 28-year-old hasn't played since being substituted at half-time in a Champions League match with Liverpool, after which it's claimed he stormed out of the stadium.

Former Blackburn Rovers and Stoke man N'Zonzi has a £35million release clause in his contract at Sevilla.

N'Zonzi has attracted interest from Arsenal and Everton in recent months and flew into London this week, sparking further speculation the Frenchman was negotiating a move back to the Premier League. The futures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are still nowhere near to being resolved, with incomings very likely during the second transfer window of the season.

"My future is clearly away from Seville". Sevilla were 0-3 down at the break but recovered to secure a 3-3 draw.

Eduardo Berizzo - who underwent a successful operation as part of his cancer treatment this week - opted to send N'Zonzi for an early bath after a disastrous performance in the first half.

"The coach pointed the finger at me [at half-time of the Liverpool game]". N'Zonzi made his debut for the French national team at the start of November, and that may provide an incentive to resolve the situation. What does that mean?

N'Zonzi has been linked with a move to both Arsenal and Everton, having fallen out of favour with the La Liga side.

"Whether in a 4-3-3, 3-5-2 or any other formation, a player must adapt to what his coach demands and I have always done it. But what bothers me is the way this is happening, I never had a problem like this with any coach".
