Kim Kardashian's Instagram post reignites Taylor Swift rivalry

Swifties saw a double meaning behind the flashback shot, and were quick to rise to the Grammy Award-winning musician's defense by developing an emblem of their own to represent Kim after Kar-Jenner fans bestowed Swift with a snake emoji past year.

A bevy of Taylor Swift fans lampooned Kim Kardashian on social media after the reality star posted a throwback picture to Instagram of her husband Kanye West's controversial wax figure exhibit for his song "Famous". You know, the one where he placed nude wax figures of famous types like Taylor Swift, Donald Trump, Rihanna and Chris Brown in bed together with himself and Kardashian.

Country music star Taylor Swift has some hardcore fans riding for her. Swift was publicly incensed, but Kardashian-West refuted her outrage by offering up audio of Swift pre-approving the lewd lyric on the phone.

The words could well be taken as a response to Kim's Instagram post on Monday night.

"If people ask me about it, look, I think it would be great for me to be like, 'He called me and told me before it came out.joke's on you, guys".

Kim was seen with her edgy new 'do leaving Laduree at The Grove For a Childrens Hospital event, while simultaneously flashing her insane abs through her cut out dress.

On the track, Kanye sang: 'I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why, I made that b**** famous'. The footage did not address the "b--h" line.

So maybe this is why Taylor Swift superfans have flooded Kim K's Instagram with rat emojis.

The lead single - Look What You Made Me Do - features a number of apparent digs at the likes of Kanye and his wife, among others.
