Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro with 18:9 display, dual selfie cameras launched: Price, specifications, features

Micromax had launched the Canvas Infinity with a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and minimal bezels on the sides with a price tag of Rs. 9,999. But the Infinity Pro is offering no upgrade despite a hike in price could be met with disappointment. We are known to bring revolutionary products within the range of millions of Indians and this is another step in that direction.

Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro is a slightly better version of the original Canvas Infinity. The USP of the smartphone was its Galaxy S8-like infinity display. "We are certain that this device will strengthen Micromax's portfolio on Flipkart by providing customers a great selection across various price segments", said Ayyappan Rajagopal, Senior Director - Mobiles, Flipkart. "With a massive screen, the phone allows the users to see more while browsing the web and enjoy more while watching the movie". The FullView display combined with symmetrically curved look offers good grip on the phone and the latest design quotient. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 430 quad-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 128GB.

On the battery front, the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro packs a 3000mAh backup. The battery gives a super Standby time of 420 hours, Music Playback of up to 22 hours and Video Playback of up to 6 hours.

For selfie lovers, the Canvas Infinity Pro has a dual selfie camera setup with 20MP+8MP that offers features such as portrait mode, face beauty, auto scene detection, face gallery and tale album.

The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. On the connectivity front, the phone supports 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB OTG.

The Micromax Canvas Infinity has been priced at Rs. 13,999 and will be available in Black colour option exclusively from Flipkart starting from December 6. Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro is the bigger sibling of Micromax Canvas Infinity which was launched in August this year at Rs 9,999. On the back of the phone, there's a fingerprint scanner with "0.2 sec unlock time and a 360-degree acceptance angle", which we are confident will work as promised.
