OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition confirmed to be launched in India soon

We're hoping that this isn't the case, as many Star Wars fans around the world will probably find this special OnePlus 5T quite appealing. This comes just under two weeks before release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in theatres this fall.

Chinese firm OnePlus said it will continue to focus on the premium smartphone category in the Indian market, competing with heavyweights like Samsung and Apple. The new variant certainly looks different from the existing black and red variants.

The new OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition comes in White color.

The OnePlus 5T sports Face Unlock feature which the company claims that it is based on advanced facial recognition system and also feature a fingerprint scanner at the back panel. There's a Red colored alert slider on the left.

According to Indian website Tech PP, the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition could be launched on December 16 - just one day after the latest Star Wars film (The Last Jedi) makes its U.S. and worldwide debut.

The company will soon be announcing the launch date of Star Wars Limited Edition latest flagship phone and other details in the coming week. In addition to design changes, the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition will also ship with themes, ringtones and effects.

Well, we think that the device will be exclusively available in India. According to TechPP, the limited edition smartphone will be exclusive to India with the launch expected on December 16 in Mumbai. The OnePlus 5T is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor clocked up to 2.45GHz. It is backed by a 3300mAh battery along with the support for Dash charging tech. For camera buffs, the phone will offer a 16 MP + 20 MP dual rear camera.
