Blake Shelton is named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive
The singer told People that while he tries to stay in shape and eat healthy, he does have a weakness for snacks such as jalapeno poppers and pickles, especially when he is home in Oklahoma. "Wow, we've run out of celebrities with both eyes. we're just down to somebody who's somewhat symmetrical".

The 41-year-old Shelton relented, deadpanning he's been "ugly" all his life so he'll take the yearlong reign with a smile. He'll soon follow everything up from the year with the Country Music Freaks tour coming to cities in 2018. He recently added his sixth top record to the list with the release of Texoma Shore. "I think to describe myself as a child, one word comes to mind".
"I'm not going to treat this like Hugh Jackman or one of those guys who's humble about it. People are going to hate me over this", Shelton joked.
Even with his weakness over food (he calls his love for chips and dips "a problem"), Shelton says his new title is "like a confirmation" that he'll enjoy for the rest of his life. "It's going to be used in every conversation, whether it's at The Voice , or at the feed in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, or in a conversation with a doctor", he tells People .
"The Voice" coach went on to say that if people refer to him as the "Sexiest Man Alive", he will reply, "You're damn right, I'm Mr".
