Tom Sizemore allegedly violated 11-year-old girl, removed from film set

Tom Sizemore reportedly got kicked off set after touching an 11-year-old girl in 2003

Not Released

The Hollywood Reporter, which broke the story, alleges that the actor was participating in a second-unit still portrait session when the incident took place. "Our position is 'no comment, ' " his agent, Stephen Rice, told THR.

The 55-year-old actor is said to have battled drug addiction since he was 15, and has been convicted of domestic violence and drugs charges.

The film's casting director, Catrine McGregor, recalled how she received a call the following day from the actress' agent the next day informing her the girl's mum said her daughter had been "inappropriately touched", reports MailOnline.

Sizemore did not comment on the allegation.

This incident has previously gone unreported, THR reported, but is coming out now in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment-and-rape scandal, which has set off a cascade of similar allegations and a belated industry move towards openness about such accusations.

"We had a fiduciary responsibility to complete the film so we chose to go about business as usual - lacking the evidence of what happened that day", producer Gus Spoliansky said. By that time the parents had declined to press charges, the site said.

The organization stated the incident in question happened near the end of the production, and an unidentified person took photos of the young girl sitting on his lap. This is when Sizemore allegedly either rubbed his finger against the girl's vagina or inserted it inside. "I was watching her", she said.

Sizemore is said to have strongly denied the little girl's allegations when he was confronted over the allegations at the time, telling producers: "I've done a lot of bad things, and I'd never do anything with kids". "I heard something happened on the set but I didn't realize it involved a child". She added that afterward, "the young girl had trouble taking direction".

The girl reportedly told her parents about the encounter who ran it up the production ladder.

THR spoke with 12 people who worked on the film Born Killers. "We also talked to Tom at the time, and told him everything that had been told to us, and he said: 'I've done a lot of very bad things, and I'd never do anything with kids'".

"[The family] did talk to the police but didn't press charges", producer Michael Manshel said. "Then this happens. Guys reached for hammers", he says. Domestic abuse charges include a conviction for beating then-wife Heidi Fleiss in 2003 and a February no-contest plea for assaulting his girlfriend past year.
