Jinder Mahal Responds To Triple H; News For This Week's SmackDown Live
14 November 2017, 02:03 | Myron Mathis
Triple H said he will step into the ring in New Delhi
"@WWEIndia.@JinderMahal.I only have one question for you.the question is.India, Jinder Mahal.are you ready?", Triple H signed off.
In a pair of videos on Twitter, HHH has challenged Jinder Mahal for a match on the upcoming India tour, which Mahal and the Singh Brothers have accepted. That tweet is followed by the reply tweet from Mahal. However, Indian-origin wrestler lost the title to AJ Styles in SmackDown Live last week. Before losing the WWE title, Mahal was supposed to defend the championship against Kevin Owens at the shows.
Here is the challenge tweet from Triple H in which he called it the "Biggest Match in India's History". Whether Owens will still be on the tour (and who Mahal will be facing on the 8th if he isn't) hasn't been announced yet. Triple H doesn't put on his wrestling boots very often and only challenges people that he thinks is worthy.
During the fall, Triple H has been active in live events, wrestling in countries like Chile, Portugal, and the United Kingdom. It's a nice treat for the fans in India to see a legend like Triple H in action. Let me hear your voice and if it is loud enough then I'll return to New Delhi on December 9 and I will step into that ring to compete.
WWE set up Mahal vs. It will be for the biggest match in India's history.
Later, Mahal responded to Triple H, saying it was his biggest match in his career, going on to accept the challenge. The assumption has been that Mahal will work as a babyface in India, and he could have honestly been a more convincing babyface in America, given that the heel material he was handed seemed outdated.
