But the new version of the Amazons in Justice League is causing some costume controversy. And because this is a group of attractive, superpowered people fighting to save the world, there will inevitably be some sexual tension between the men of the team and the lone female member.

Justice League is the latest installment from the DC Extended Universe - a series which, with the notable exception of Wonder Woman, has met with a less than positive critical response and has failed to match the box office success of rival Marvel and its cinematic universe. Second designed by Michael Wilkinson, directed by Zack Snyder. He also reveals that despite having only seriously played the Dark Knight in two movies, he is already considering when it's time to make a graceful exit.

It should be noted that Ben Affleck will be next seen in "Justice League" alongside Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Moma, Ray Fisher and Henry Cavill.

This is even more clear in its suggestion of a world without Affleck's Batman than his recent chat with Extra TV.

This is not a huge surprise, considering Batman and Superman's seductive introduction of Diana, and the somewhat clunky inclusion of Bruce Wayne in Wonder Woman.

One comic critic and writer has even compared a picture of the actress Brooke Ence in character as Amazon warrior Penthesilea in both Wonder Woman and Justice League.

The early reactions are in and it seems that Justice League continues down the path laid out by Wonder Woman and proves to be a tonally fun film with breakout performances.

But there's a chance that we may be reading too heavily into Affleck's quote, because the actor later quips, "You can't be around Jason Momoa and not have sexual tension".

Film fans have been waiting a long time for Justice League to hit the big screen, as plans for the movie were originally announced in 2014.
