The prologue episode, Episode Zero, is now available to Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus players who pre-ordered the game, and to season pass holders.
As previously announced, the pack entitled The Freedom Chronicles will tell the tale of three heroes completely separate from main game protagonist BJ Blazkowicz's story across three episodes. Today Bethesda nailed its post-release plans down further by revealing two out of three release dates, and an acceptably tight window for the third.
It's unclear how much The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe will cost, but for the time being, picking up the Season Pass will most likely be the best option.
The Freedom Chronicles' opening salvo - known as Episode Zero - is already out, and introduces Stallion, Valiant, and Wilkins. It will be followed on December 14 by The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe, a new mission that stars former quarterback Joseph Stallion as he "smash [es] through Nazi hordes from the ruins of Chicago to the vastness of space". The final expansion, The Deeds of Captain Wilkins, launches in March and tasks players with dismantling a Nazi operation in Alaska.
If you're planning on purchasing all of these anyway, you can save yourself some trouble and a bit of money by buying the season pass for Wolfenstein II:The Freedom Chronicles, the collection of DLC that includes all of the ones listed here. All the DLC can also be purchased separately.
