FFXV's Noctis to be playable in Tekken 7 in 2018

The first was Tekken Bowl, the second Geese Howard from the Fatal Fury franchise (Akuma from Street Fighter was a playable character at launch).
Bandai Namco has announced that the next Tekken 7 DLC character is none other than Final Fantasy XV's Noctis Lucis Caelum and will be heading to the fighting game sometime in Spring 2018. There's also a Final Fantasy XV stage coming along with him, containing lots of nods to the game in background elements.
Noctis is now slated for release in spring of 2018.
Noctis can battle it out in front of the Hammerhead garage, as Ignis, Prompto, and Gladiolus can be seen cheering, whooping and encouraging their pal to fight on.
Additionally, some of the Tekken 7 Noctis moves are shown to include elements of magic.
In the new gameplay trailer, we can see the FFXV protagonist taking on Devil Jin, Yoshimitsu and other Tekken 7 mainstays.
While many had expected a new character reveal, nobody could possibly imagine how big a get it would be for the game. Hopefully, this crossing over of characters and genres represents Bandai Namco getting even more bold with future character additions.
