Joe Biden Struggles When Asked To Name One Thing President Trump Is Doing Well

Biden: I Wouldn't Have Replaced Hillary [VIDEO]

Former Vice President Joe Biden made the rounds on Monday morning's news shows to promote his new book and tease a 2020 presidential run.

"We're both hoping that both our parties generate some real energetic people who have the depth and the capacity to do it", Biden said of the pair. Biden says, "I wouldn't have taken" Clinton's place as the party's standard-bearer. After being diagnosed with brain cancer in August 2013, medical complications forced Beau Biden to step down from his role as the Attorney General of DE in January 2015, but, without his income, Beau's family were put in a hard financial situation. I am just-we're working through a whole lot.

"No, no, I'm not closing the door", Biden replied.

"I've done it a long time", the former senator from DE said. "Who knows what the situation will be a year and a half from now?"

Kasich, who has been an outspoken opponent of Trump's since he challenged him for the Republican nomination in 2016, declined to address his own 2020 plans. He also writes about his decision not to seek the Democratic nomination for president in the 2016 election.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey released Sunday, Biden said he regrets not being in the White House, but not his decision to stay on the sidelines a year ago.

"Oh gosh, I don't know, " he said.

"Joe Biden is such a family man". Former second lady Jill Biden said in June that her husband "is not going away".

Biden, who seriously considered launching a bid to continue the Obama administration legacy in the White House previous year, was asked about a potential run in 2020 Tuesday on "Today" but offered little definitive.

A speech was drafted declaring his intention to run in late summer 2015, NBC reported Sunday, though Biden ended up announcing that October that he would not.
