Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) variant with 5-inch HD display appears on GFXBench

Samsung Galaxy J3 Top SM-J337 surfaces on GFXBench

We have some evidence to this claim because the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) is already seen visiting the benchmarking site GFXbench.

While Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 will likely be powering the Samsung Galaxy S9 in the United States, the rest of the world will probably get a new Exynos chipset, and Samsung's just announced the one that it might well use.

Samsung is now selling the 2017 Galaxy J series globally. It features third-generation custom CPU cores and it also includes ARM Mail-G71 GPU that is also available on the Exynos 9810.

6CA (six carrier aggregation) means that whatever phone has that chip will support download speeds of up to 1.2Gbps, which is an industry first and up from the 5CA-powered 1Gbps download speeds that the Samsung Galaxy S8 theoretically tops out at.

According to the press release issued on November 9, the Exynos 9810 is the company's latest flagship, part of the Exynos 9 series. One of the first 2018 Galaxy J-series models, the Galaxy J3 (2018) has been spotted on GFXBench, revealing an impressive new chipset under the hood. Samsung usually doesn't launch its budget smartphones with the latest version of Android out of the box, so this isn't really surprising.

While the Exynos 9810 is manufactured on the 10nm production node just like its predecessor, it should deliver a better performance with lower power consumption. As is traditional with such unveils, it can be expected that the new new Exynos 9 Series 9810 SoC will be the processor powering the company's next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S9. Until then, we will most likely find out even more about it.
