At least not according to a report. Simpson was cordial to security, but he has since been permanently banned from the hotel, sources told TMZ. It remains to be seen whether officials will declare him to be in violation, but if they do, Simpson could be sent back to prison.
If you thought Simpson would live a quiet life after spending time in prison - he asked for privacy as he was released, which is kind of humorous given the latest news - then you were probably asking for a little too much.
Simpson's lawyer, Malcolm LaVergne, told KTNV that there's no truth to reports that Simpson was drunk.
LaVergne added that the hotel's decision to ban Simpson was apparently made before his client arrived Wednesday, and once notified, Simpson left quietly.
Simpson was reportedly asked to leave the casino shortly after the incident. KTNV reported that Simpson is "taking steps to make sure that his probation officer is clear about what happened".
