Harry Kane will be fit for Tottenham's huge away derby clash against rivals Arsenal after the global break, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed.
However, against Palace he took a knock on his ankle that saw him withdraw from Gareth Southgate's squad for the friendlies against Germany and Brazil.
"The games we have had in the last month have been really good and the results have been very positive", he added. Tottenham will have a hard fixture once the global break is over, as they face arch-rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Pochettino has now spent three and a half years at Spurs but indicated it is too early to say whether he matches the tenure of Wenger at Arsenal.
"Harry Kane is okay", Pochettino said. I'm always thinking, today, tomorrow. "The manager has set a brilliant mentality at the club, and I think everybody should be aware that if Man City do slip up we'll be there to put some pressure on them".
Eric Dier believes Tottenham Hotspur's 3-1 win against Real Madrid in the Champions League has given them more belief that they can lift the Premier League table at the end of the season.
"The focus at Tottenham is we want to go one stop further than previous year and that's finishing first".
