Remember when Stranger Things first hit Netflix and it was all anyone could talk about and - amazingly - about half that discussion was about the soundtrack? The wildly successful Netflix series returns for its second season of nostalgia-tinged horror and adventure.

The trailer, seen above, provides a few more clues as to what fans can expect to see occur to the residents of Hawkins, Indiana.

The final trailer for Stranger Things season two reveals, among other things, our best look yet at Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), last seen disappearing into thin air after confronting the dreaded Demogorgon at Hawkins High.

To announce the release of the final trailer, Stranger Things did release this short little clip that's pretty awesome in its own right.

Not only is it the flawless time to drop a new trailer to get fans stoked with excitement two weeks away from the premiere, but the fact it's going to be Friday the 13th makes it all the more fitting for the show that dabbles in the horror genre and when Halloween is a big theme for the new series. The series seemingly came out of nowhere and created one of the biggest crazes in Netflix original series history, and now season 2 is hoping to recapture that magic.

Stranger Things also stars Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery and Cara Buono. New cast members include Sean Astin, Paul Reiser and Sadie Sink.

The new season of Stranger Things will arrive on Netflix on October 27, 2017.
