ZTE introduces the nubia Z17S and the nubia Z17 miniS

Chinese smartphone brand ZTE has today launched Nubia Z17S smartphone in China.

Even though that sound a bit ridiculous, but I guess everyone is entitled to their own perspectives, even if they are irrational.

The Nubia Z17 miniS is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor with Adreno 510 GPU, 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Coming to Nubia Z17 miniS, it is the successor of Z17 mini. "For the rear, it has a 12-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX362 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, 1/2.55" CMOS sensor, dual-tone LED flash and a 23-megapixel auxiliary camera Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture. For the selfie enthusiasts, the device offers dual 5 MP cameras with improved selfie features with 1080p video recording capability.


Nubia Z17S price in China is 2999 Yuan for 6GB RAM model and 3999 Yuan for 8GB RAM model.

The smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor with Adreno 540 graphics GPU. On the camera side, the Nubia Z17 miniS has a 13MP+13MP camera on the back, which is a RGB and Monochrome sensor combination. The smartphone comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage with no support for SD card expansion. The Nubia Z17S runs nubia UI5.1 system based on Android 7.1.

Available in Black Gold, Deep Blue, and Aegean Blue colors, the Nubia Z17 miniS will go on sale in China on October 19th for a price of CNY2,099 ($318). However, the dual front-facing camera setup that includes two 5-megapixel sensors with an f/2.2 aperture and 79.9-degree wide-angle lens. It is materialised with a 5.2-inch full-HD display with curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It comes with Fingerprint sensor. In terms of memory, the Nubia Z17 miniS comes loaded with a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The handset runs on Nubia UI 5.0 on top of Android 7.1 Nougat. There's a fingerprint reader on its back, a USB Type-C port, and a 3100mAh battery. It's a dual-SIM smartphone, and is also equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC. The handset measures 147.46 x 72.69 x 8.5 mm and weighs 170 grams.
