A three-year-old #Special needs girl remains missing after she was forced to stay outside of her home on Saturday night when she refused to drink her milk.

At 3-year-old Sherin Mathews' home, police collected evidence this week, and they have searched their parents' vehicles, phones, and computers.

Police said Mathews went back inside the house thinking Sherin would eventually come back home. Sherin's mother, Sini Mathews, has not been charged with any crime. However, the alert was discontinued on Monday afternoon due to the lack of necessary information. According to police in the area, Mathews only reported Williams missing five hours after he left her outside their home.

Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation searched the house of parents who lost their 3-year-old daughter in Texas Wednesday after the dad forced her to stand outside at 3 a.m.

"We are asking for residents and business owners within an area where this vehicle could have traveled within that hour to review and preserve any video possibly containing this vehicle", the police said in a release.

According to reports, the police have confiscated Wesley's passport and have made him wear an electronic ankle monitor to track his movements. "He elected to call the police shortly after 8 o'clock". Kent Starr is representing the young girl's mother. Perlich told KXAS-TV. "That's the question we want answered as well".

The 37-year-old father was arrested Saturday morning for child abandonment.

The 4-year-old daughter of the couple is in the custody of a friend of the Mathews' family. She is 22 pounds and 3 feet tall. Saturday as punishment for not drinking her milk.

Williams is said to have developmental issues such as limited verbal communication skills.

Police confirmed that the child was much smaller than other kids her age, and that it was common for her to eat several times each day and night in an effort to put on some additional weight. Investigators are also now reviewing footage from surveillance cameras, cellphones and laptops to try to determine the whereabouts of the child.

Meanwhile, members of Emmanuel Bible Chapel in Irving, where Sherin and her parents attended frequently, printed fliers with the girl's description and posted them in and around the Richland Meadows neighborhood over the weekend.
