JAY-Z Looking to Purchase Harvey Weinstein's Stake in The Weinstein Company

JAY-Z Might Buy Harvey Weinstein's Shares in the Weinstein Company

TMZ reported that the movie producer could be heard yelling at his daughter that she was "making it worse" while attempting to get a random vehicle to stop to give him a ride.

TMZ reports that Remy convinced her father to back into the house, and then the LAPD arrived at the home shortly around, around 10:30am.

Responding to the incident, Page Six reported that a friend of the mogul reached out to the publication to clear the air. It eventually culminated with Harvey telling his daughter that she was "making it worse".

Police visited the residence of Remy Weinstein-daughter of producer Harvey Weinstein-after she called 911 and said that her father was suicidal, reports TMZ. "She was crying, so he left his therapy and went to her house on Wednesday morning to comfort her". Jay is already familiar with the production team since he and Harvey are executive producers on The Kalief Browder Story - a six-episode documentary that chronicles the life of Kalief Browder, a Bronx high school student who was jailed for three years for a crime he did not commit. However, once the actress arrived she was directed to his hotel room, where he appeared wearing a bathrobe and asking for a massage.

In a statement Tuesday night, Weinstein Co.'s board of directors said they were "shocked and dismayed" by the latest allegations and that they are "committed to assisting with our full energies in all criminal or other investigations of these alleged acts".

Jay reportedly wants a larger stake in The Weinstein Company that his relationship with it can continue to grow, even if Harvey is no longer part of it.
