'DC's Legends Of Tomorrow': Series Regular To Exit CW Series
He was added to the series because actor Robbie Amell, who played original Firestorm Ronnie Raymond on The Flash, couldn't be part of Legends of Tomorrow. Several outlets have confirmed that Victor Garber will be leaving DC's Legends of Tomorrow this season, meaning the show is again going to have to come up with an excuse to recast half of Firestorm. The cast also includes Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Nick Zano, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers. So far, there is no official word about this from either The CW network or the producing studio Warner Bros. TV.
Unfortunately, it seems that Stein may not be on the show for much longer, as Deadline is reporting that Garber is set to leave the show soon. Garber takes over the role from David Hyde Pierce (with Peters stepping in for Bette Midler.) His first show is January 20. Doing that while filming a primetime series is virtually impossible, especially when the show is produced 3,000 miles away as is the case with the Vancouver-based Legends Of Tomorrow.
Garber will return to Broadway to star opposite Bernadette Peters in the Tony-winning revival of Hello, Dolly!
