Razer Teases “Biggest Unveiling” for November 1, Could be a Phone

Razer Phone by bit

Razer says it'll be the company's biggest unveiling ever, so we'll let you know more about the device when it launches next month.

This leads us to speculate that Razer might release some kind of smartphone or small tablet for consuming media and/or playing mobile games.

According to the teaser on the company's website, the product will be launched on November 1, with a tagline that reads "Watch for our biggest unveiling".

"One of the most hotly rumored things about Razer is that we're coming up with a mobile device". On the website, you may have seen an interesting picture which shows a man holding what appears to be a smartphone or similar device.

Razer SVP Tom Moss had also earlier last week tweeted a photo of him with CEO Tan Min Liang, with what looks suspiciously like a phone peeking out of Tan's pocket. So, we are not really sure what to expect from the upcoming device.

Will a gaming smartphone work in today's environment? That all lined up with Nextbit, the folks who put together the Robin smartphone, joining the Razer team back in January. However, he had refused to shed light on the phone's specifications and features. The report had also stated that the company was raising funds for the smartphone.
