The question of how hot is your pizza is an enduring one
It's the same material that astronauts have in space blankets.
Winter is coming. And as you prepare yourself with an updated winter wardrobe, America's largest pizza chain Pizza Hut is too, with a new-and-improved, limited-edition "Pizza Parka" to accompany the launch of its new delivery pouch. They have hired almost half of the 14,000 drivers that expected to by the end of the year and have implemented their proprietary delivery network algorithm, a multi-faceted technology system that drastically improves the accuracy and reliability of Pizza Hut deliveries across all 6,300 U.S. Pizza Hut restaurant locations.
Like the new delivery pouches, the parka features triple-layer insulation, a splash guard, a window in the sleeve to order pizza from your phone and a pizza pouch, which Pizza Hut doesn't suggest actually using for pizza.
In fact, to prove how well the system retains heat, Pizza Hut created limited-edition "Pizza Parkas" made from the same stuff in the new pouches. It said the secret to a warmer pizza includes a delivery pouch with 3M Thinsulate Insulation thermal technology, thicker pizza boxes, and a new algorithm that makes delivery faster. From today, until the end of October, National Pizza Month, anyone who orders online will be entered to win. You can also tweet to enter.
Pizza delivered to your door is best served hot and Pizza Hut is turning up the heat. Program, which is the longest-running corporate supported literacy program, impacting more than 14 million students each year.
